Frequently Asked Questions
When will the Studio open?
We are completing the final stages of construction. Our desire is to be completely open and operational by the end of March or beginning of April. However, we will have some soft launch events before, where you can do a little crafting while getting a sneak peak. Make sure to scroll down on this page to sign up for our email newsletter, and we will keep you posted on details.
How much will classes cost?
Classes will range in pricing. Some classes will be a one-time event and others will run for four to six weeks. Depending on the length of the class and supplies needed the classes will range from $20-$60.
How does the Open Studio/Lounge time work?
When the Studio is open, the front lounge area will be available with comfortable seating, tables, and chairs. You can purchase a craft kit and refreshments and create at your own pace. When the classroom is not being used, it is available for creating as well. The only time the lounge is off limits is when we are closed or the Studio is being used for a private event.
What does it mean when you say The Spoonful of Imagination Art Studio is an IRS approved 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization?
This means that we can take donations (that you can use towards credit on your taxes) and we can apply for grants. Our hope is that everyone who wants to experience art in our community can. We want to be a place that can build into foster families and host birthday parties to these families free of cost, while also using some of our donations to help offset the cost of classes and make scholarships available. Your donations literally help us change lives and make art possible for more families in our community.
