Frequently Asked Questions
When will the Studio open?
We are open for walk ins Thursdays 11:00am – 2:00pm (January 11-March 29, 2018). While we have many great workshop opportunities, it’s always been the desire for you to also enjoy walking-in and creating at your own pace. On your own. On a date. With family and friends. We have a fun selection of ready to paint or other craft kits available for purchase. Take them home for a rainy day or pay an additional $2 for a studio fee and paint them right here in the studio. We take care of all the supplies, set up, and mess. You have fun! Check for a growing list of Open Studio time.
We also have a variety of workshops, and ladies nights available for you to register for where you or your child will be led through fun projects with an instructor. We have started hosting Birthday Parties and renting out our classroom for you to use for your event as well. Please contact us for more information!
How much will classes cost?
Classes will range in pricing. Some classes will be a one-time event and others will run for four to six weeks. Depending on the length of the class and supplies needed the classes will range from $20-$90.
How does the Open Studio/Lounge time work?
When the Studio is open, the front lounge area will be available with comfortable seating, tables, and chairs. You can purchase a craft kit and refreshments and create at your own pace. When the classroom is not being used, it is available for creating as well. The only time the lounge is off limits is when we are closed or the Studio is being used for a private event.
What does it mean when you say The Spoonful of Imagination Art Studio is an IRS approved 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization?
This means that we can take donations (that you can use towards credit on your taxes) and we can apply for grants. Our hope is that everyone who wants to experience art in our community can. We want to be a place that can build into foster families and host birthday parties to these families free of cost, while also using some of our donations to help offset the cost of classes and make scholarships available. Your donations literally help us change lives and make art possible for more families in our community.
